We are the Church of England in Colwall and Coddington. We believe that God welcomes and loves all people, and that all people are created in the image of God.
Each of us is unique with gifts and talents that are blessings from God and all are welcome irrespective of ethnicity, gender, sexual identity and orientation, disability, and economic power.
We come together for worship and mutual support and are here for all members of the community.

If the walls of St James’ could speak, they would tell stories stretching across centuries: nervous hands clasped at the altar rail, tears quickly wiped away during vows, laughter during speeches, promises whispered with trembling voices. And every generation adds new stories to those ancient stones.
Andrew Falconer to leave Colwall
It is with sadness that I am informally announcing that Revd Andrew Falconer will be leaving the benefice. He has been offered and has accepted the post of vicar in the parish of Old Basing and Lychpit in the diocese of Winchester.
Charity doesn’t stop at home
Over the last decade, there’s been something of a “culture war” against charities, particularly those working in international development or, in the UK, doing things some consider “woke”.
